Issues you can raise
You can contact LPFA if you are dealing with any of the following:
- unpaid salary or other payments;
- breach of contract by the club;
- contract termination – whether the club wants to end it or you are considering it;
- disciplinary proceedings;
- pressure from a club;
- discrimination;
- anti-doping matters;
- an international dispute with a foreign club;
- another issue related to your professional career.
You do not need to wait until things become serious – getting in touch early often helps avoid problems.
What to prepare
To help LPFA assess your situation more quickly, prepare:
- a short description of what happened and a timeline with dates;
- your employment contract and annexes;
- payslips, bank statements or other evidence of payments;
- correspondence with the club;
- any decisions you have received (for example disciplinary decisions or decisions of anti-doping organisations).
If you do not have documents to hand, get in touch anyway – missing items can be provided later. If the matter is urgent, say so in your request. Before uploading documents, it is advisable to remove metadata from the files.
What LPFA can and cannot do
LPFA is an independent association representing footballers' interests. LPFA can:
- assess your situation and explain possible options;
- help you prepare communication with the club;
- with your agreement, get involved in discussions or help you find suitable legal assistance.
LPFA cannot guarantee any particular outcome, and the information on this website is not legal advice. Submitting a request does not in itself create a lawyer–client relationship. LPFA is not a player agency or intermediary.
Confidentiality and anonymity
Your request and documents are handled only by authorised LPFA personnel with restricted access. Information is not shared with your club, the federation or anyone else without your agreement.
If you first want to just ask a question, you can submit an anonymous preliminary inquiry. You will receive a reference number and a private access code that is shown only once – keep it safe, as LPFA cannot recover it. Please note:
- anonymity limits how specifically LPFA can help – for example, it is not possible to contact a club on your behalf without knowing who you are;
- technical anonymity is not absolute – you may be identifiable, for example, from details in your description or from document metadata.
You can find more about how data is processed in the privacy policy.
How to get in touch
Use the confidential assistance request form on this website – with your name or anonymously. LPFA will review your request and get back to you about possible next steps. If the matter is urgent, for example because a deadline is approaching, say so in your request.
